Nationally Recognised Training

The course includes the basic laser safety course in the morning, with an introductory laser safety officer extension in the afternoon. This will enable attendees of the whole day to also apply for LSO status where this is required. Healthcorp is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 91222) and the course content follows the recommendations of ASNZS4173:2004.

Who is this course for?

Suitable for persons wishing to operate class 3B or 4 lasers used in medicine and surgery, and other health care settings, who wish to take on laser safety officer roles. The course is approved for the purposes of obtaining a Queensland, Tasmanian or West Australian licence to use Class 3B or 4 lasers.
